No. AB Smart Pro is designed to sit alongside existing logistics systems and bring shipment, tracking, monitoring and risk information together into a single visibility platform.
Can AB Smart Pro track road, air and ocean shipments?
Yes. The platform is designed to combine tracking information across road, air and ocean movements, subject to compatible data being available from the relevant provider.
Can we use our existing tracking or telematics providers?
In many cases, yes. AB Smart Pro is being built around a provider-neutral approach so suitable APIs and data connections can be integrated into a common platform.
Does the platform support pharmaceutical temperature monitoring?
Yes. AB Smart Pro supports temperature-control monitoring for pharmaceutical and life sciences operations across configured temperature ranges, subject to compatible monitoring data being available.
Does AB Smart Pro retain historical shipment data?
The platform is designed to retain shipment, tracking, risk and monitoring history so customers can build a longer-term operational record rather than relying solely on individual provider retention periods.
Is AB Smart Pro only for pharmaceutical logistics?
No. Pharmaceutical and life sciences visibility is a key use case, but AB Smart Pro also supports general freight operations where transport visibility, delays, milestones and exceptions are the primary focus.
Does AB Smart Pro include AI?
AI Insights is part of the future platform roadmap. The aim is to allow users to interrogate connected shipment and historical data more intelligently. This feature is not yet generally available.
